I'm going back to the South Pole for the 05-06 season. Read the latest entry in my blog, or if this is your first time, start at the beginning.
(20:08:20) By the way, don't you have your web page for other than pictures in Berkely?
(20:09:20) I used to spend lots of time on my web pages, but now I don't.
(20:09:39) oh my, it's totally gone.
(20:09:48) why?!
(20:09:56) you deleted them?
(20:09:58) I probably typed something wrong.
Ok, so maybe you've guessed that I'm red? Yeah, I did delete my index.html file at some point over the last week. But no worries, the blog still exists here.
The South Pole (03-04) was fun, start reading here.
Or just pictures here.
Last spring, I went to Berkeley, pictures here. (password

More recently, I returned from London. Didn't really do much with the camera.
Work homepage (talks, etc.)
Boku Inc. web sites, computers, etc.
Seven
years ago I was in a course where I was exposed to a very limited amount of
Japanese for 8 weeks. Of the six words I remember; four are numbers, one
is a greeting, and one is the word for octopus. Why? Because I had this mental
image when I heard the word.
Now you try: Octopus, tako. Tako, octopus. Now you will remember forever.
Update: I guess I'm in another Japanese course now. Maybe I can do my own translation soon. Maybe not.
