Hello!
Sorry to anyone who’s been checking my blog for news, because a lot has happened, and I’ve failed to report any of it. So, let’s start with “Happy New Year!” I know, I’m a bit late, and since we’re on New Zealand daylight time (GMT +13) we were in the new year well before the rest of you in the states. New Year’s was fun, with live music, good food and friends. I was even at the pole at the stroke of midnight, so that’s pretty cool.

What can you tell us about the “lot has happened”?
The New Year here was very uneventful. Having traveled for most of the New Years Eve we were fairly ready to call it a day early. So we did.
How did the run around the World go? Did you participate? As for it being “cool” at the pole at the stroke of midnight, just how cool was it? The picture I saw of you on New Years looked as though it was not excessively cold.
How are the new shoes working, I saw that you were wearing them. Are they warm enough?
There are a lot of us checking this Blog. We are looking forward to hearing more about your adventure. Thanks for the New Years Wish.
Can hardly wait for the “Define: soon” update.
